Thank God there is no Tex Mex here! Real homemade enchilada sauce, like abuela used to make. Everything was flavorful without oversalting the food. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with worship music and a homey environment. Abuela's will be a new go to for me and my husband.

Let me begin with "WOW!" Its not too often that I truly enjoy mexican restaurants. Today I had the Birria Taco plate with rice and got to taste the menudo. Both tasted exactly as my momma or myself would cook. The rice was good as well. Our waitress Mrs. Rosa and her assistant were spectacular! Very busy after Sunday church but we we still seated and served fairly quickly!

I got the menudo and a couple of chorizo and egg burritos(tacos if ur from further south), and maaaan let me tell u this food was absolutely delicious! The chorizo was more meat than grease which is usually the case with it, tortillas were perfect and soft, and the menudo reminded me of my dad's growing up. If u r in the area, this is the place to go!

Amazing tasting food!! Full of flavor just like Abuelas! I had the Chilequiles rojo y verde (red and green) this morning with a great cup of coffee! The waitress was attentive and so was (who i assumed could be the owner or manager). They continued to check if I needed more coffee and if my food was to my liking. This is a gem of a spot and definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice home cooked West Texas Mexican breakfast!! I absolutely forgot to take a photo as I was savoring the food and decided not to take a photo of 3/4 finished plate
